Hedy got her BSc. from University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran in June 2009 and her M.Sc. from Oklahoma State university, Tulsa, Oklahoma in December 2011 both in electrical engineering. Her master's thesis is entitled: "Low-Impedance Thin-Film AlN-on-Diamond Lateral-Extensional Resonators". She is currently a PhD student under the supervision of Dr. Abdolvand and the main focus of her research is design and fabrication of piezoelectric filters on both ultrananocrystalline diamond and silicon substrates operating at ultra high frequencies.
