The University of Central Florida’s Order of the Pegasus is a highly distinguished award that annually recognizes those who exemplify excellence in academic achievement, professional or community service, leadership, and publication or research experiences. This year, 37 total undergraduate and graduate students received this highest student honor as embodiments of our university’s spirit and core values.
DML is happy to announce and celebrate one of our very own, Dr. Justin Phelps, as a 2025 Order of the Pegasus recipient for the Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) Department. He received this honor on April 2nd at UCF’s Founder’s Day event.
His passion for his field and community, felt through his impact are all encompassing. We are grateful for his mentorship and experience that has continued in his progression from graduate student to postdoctoral scholar of our lab.
